Meet Elvis and Priscilla. They are one year old Highland Cattle. Highland Cattle are an old ancient breed raised in the Scottish highlands since the 6th century. These cows have a life span of about 20 years and can grow to weigh 2200lbs and have a shoulder height of 3.5ft. These cows are hearty animals that are raised for milk, meat and their coat is used for yarn. Elvis and Priscilla are two of many animals that are part of our Heritage Breed program.
