Please arrive promptly at 9:00 at the back entrance of the Zoo and be available to pick up your camper promptly at 3:00 at the same location. This is the brown service gate just past the Rose Garden. After hours supervision is available until 4:00 at an additional cost of $5 per camper per day. Prior notification is required for after-hours supervision. Zoo Camp staff will supervise arrivals and departures. Campers must be picked up and dropped off by a parent or other authorized adult. For the safety of your child, all paperwork (permission slips and medical information) must be completed and returned before your child will be permitted to attend Zoo Camp. Please don’t forget their IMMUNIZATION RECORDS!

How to prepare for Winter Zoo Camp

  • Bring a sack lunch
  • Bring water to drink
  • Bring rain/snow gear if needed (severe weather cancels camp & the Zoo will be closed)
  • Bring a backpack for carrying lunch and camp “stuff” (optional)
  • Do not bring CD players or electronic games (Zoo is not responsible for lost or stolen items)
  • Dress for the weather. Everyday there will be some outdoor time.

We are looking forward to providing you and your child with a terrific week full of hands-on
learning and a ton of animal fun!!
