The Zoo in Forest Park & Education Center depends on dedicated volunteers to support our mission of education, conservation and rehabilitation. Training is provided by the staff and other experienced volunteers and interns

Volunteer Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Able to commit at least four hours a week
- Willing to provide a six-month commitment
Volunteer Opportunities
- Animal Care
- Gift Shop and Ticket Booth
- Gardening and grounds maintenance
- Give guided tours of The Zoo
- Education programs
- Special events throughout the season such as Brew at The Zoo, Wine Safari, Spooky Safari and more
