In accordance with Gov. Charlie Baker’s guidelines for the state’s Phased re-opening plan, all Zoo guests, including members, are required to have a timed-ticket to enter The Zoo. tickets cannot be purchased at the gate. 

 

Please note: the city of springfield charges a daily parking fee of $3 per in-state and $5 per out-of-state passenger car (Cash only). A ticket to the zoo does not include parking.

How to make a reservation:
 
  1.  Click the green "BUY TICKETS" button below. 
  2.  Select the date you would like to visit The Zoo.
  3.  From the drop down menu, select the time of your visit. 
  4. Select how many adults, children, seniors/military are in your party. Each time slot is limited to 10 visitors. 
  5. Proceed to the checkout screen, input your contact information, read the rules and regulations and check the box.
  6. Complete order. Guests must present tickets at ticket booth in either mobile or printed form.
 
Member/Library Reservations: 
  1. Click the green "BUY TICKETS" button.
  2. Select the Member event that corresponds with the date of your visit. (ex. "MEMBERS - August 25 - The Zoo in Forest Park". Enter the access code that was emailed to you.
  3. From the drop down menu, select the time of your visit.
  4. Select how many guests are in your party. Note that you may only bring guests covered under your membership. Any tickets not covered must be purchased using the general public event page. See instructions above for purchase.
  5. Proceed to the checkout screen, input your contact information, read the rules and regulations and check the box. Library patrons enter Library name under "Library Name".
  6. Complete order. Guests must present tickets at ticket booth in either mobile or printed form. Memberships are verified at the ticket booth. 

Buy tickets for The Zoo in Forest Park & Education Center

     By purchasing tickets to The Zoo in Forest Park, you and everyone in your party agree to the following:  

  • Arrive at The Zoo gate five minutes priot to your scheduled ticket time. Ticket times are strictly enforced and guests who arrive late may be denied entry without a refund. If your ticket time is 2 p.m. or later please note that The Zoo entrance closes promptly at 3:15 p.m. and all patrons must exit The Zoo by 4 p.m. when the Zoo closes, regardless of entry time.  
  • All guests over the age of two must wear a mask that covers their mouth and nose at all times while inside The Zoo, unless prevented by a medical condition. Guests that are unable to wear a mask agree to skip all feline, primate, and carnivore exhibits, in accordance with USDA regulations.
  • Remain six feet apart from other parties at all times.
  • Follow the one-way path around The Zoo, avoiding sectioned off areas and the inside of the barn. The barn, Discovery Room and gift shop are closed during Phase 1. The six-banded armadillo exhibit is not currently accessible due to the one-way path.
  • Do not touch, pet or feed the animals.
  • The member discount code is for member use only. All member tickets will be validated either prior to entry or at the gate. Any non-member who purchases a ticket with the member discount code will be denied entry at the gate.
  • Parties may not remain in The Zoo for more than two hours from their scheduled ticket time.
  • We are currently unable to accommodate groups larger than 10 or accept Groupons, coupons or grain coupons at this time.

Refund & Reschedule Policy: The Zoo in Forest Park is open 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., 7 days a week, rain or shine. In the event of severe weather, (ex. thunder & lightning) guests may contact the zoo to reschedule their visit for another day. Rescheduling is available exclusively in the case of severe weather or illness. Late arrivals or no-shows are not eligible for rescheduling.
