pre-purchased tickets are required for non-members. members and guests using a library pass no longer need to reserve tickets ahead of their visit. 

Mask Policy: Unvaccinated individuals are required to wear a mask to ensure the saftey of our animals. Vaccinated individuals are not required to wear a mask so long as social distancing is maintained. Everyone over the age of five must wear a mask when feeding animals. 

How to make a reservation:
 
  1. Click the green "BUY TICKETS" button below. In the pop-up window, select Zoo Admission and click "Book."
  2. Select the date and time you would like to visit The Zoo.
  3. From the drop down menu, select how many adults, children, seniors/military are in your party. There is a limited number of tickets available for each time slot. 
  4. Agree to The Zoo rules, fill out your contact information and click "Complete your booking."
  5. Tickets will appear in your email and can be shown on your phone.

Member/Library Reservations: 
  1. Click “Buy Tickets.” 
  2. In the pop-up window, select Zoo Admission and click “Book.” Choose your desired date and time. 
  3. For each member ticket, enter the member code. If you have not received a member code, please email tickets@forestparkzoo.com.
  4. Agree to the Zoo rules, fill out your contact information and click “Complete your booking.”
  5. Tickets will appear in your email and can be shown on your phone.

By purchasing tickets to The Zoo in Forest Park, everyone in your party agreeS to the following:  

  • Arrive at The Zoo anytime within the 30-minute window indicated on your ticket. If your ticket time is 3 p.m. we strongly encourage arriving at 3, as all patrons must exit The Zoo by 4 p.m., regardless of entry time.  
  • Unvaccinated individuals are required to wear a mask at all times. Vaccinated individuals are not required to wear a mask unless unable to maintain social distancing. 
  • Everyone is required to wear a mask when feeding the animals. 
  • Remain six feet apart from other parties at all times.
  • Follow the one-way path around The Zoo, avoiding sectioned-off areas and the inside of the barn. The inside of the barn and Discovery Room are closed at this time. 
  • We are currently unable to accomodate Groupons at this time. 
  • No pets are allowed inside The Zoo.

Refund & Reschedule Policy: The Zoo is open rain or shine. In the event of severe weather, (ex. thunder & lightning) guests may contact the zoo to reschedule their visit for another day. Rescheduling is available exclusively in the case of severe weather or illness. No-shows are not eligible for rescheduling. 

Parking: The Zoo in Forest Park and Education Center is an independent non-profit located inside of a city park. The City of Springfield charges a daily parking fee of $3 per in-state and $5 per out-of-state passenger car CASH ONLY. All buses and larger vehicles are charged $15 per vehicle. Please note that these prices are subject to change as The City of Springfield decides the parking admission prices.
