CIT Receives Big Recognition

Molly Salvaggio poses with her SAE Award

Molly Salvaggio has been an active member in our Crew in Training (CIT) Program here at The Zoo in Forest Park & Education Center over the past three years.  She has shown incredible passion for our animals, our education programs and our special events. Molly has been involved with many of The Zoo’s events, most recently helping out at our April Eggstravaganza event.

Molly had her Annual FFA Agriscience Awards Night at the Suffield High School Agriscience Program on May 22, 2019 where she received a plaque for "Excellence in SAE" (Supported Agricultural Experience).  She was the first student from her school to receive this award for her work at The Zoo.

The Zoo in Forest Park & Education Center is dedicated to helping students who are interested in furthering their passion for animals and science with our educational programs, like our CIT program.  Our CIT’s are given the unique opportunity to work closely with our animals.

We want to send a big CONGRATULATIONS to Molly! She will be returning to our CIT Program this coming summer.  Molly, we are excited to have you back!
