Range

Lesser Hedgehog Tenrecs are endemic to Madagascar. This species thrives in dry dedacious forest, semi-arid desert, scrubland and open grassland areas. 


Diet

Lesser Hedgehog Tenrec's are insectivores that primarily eat insects such as mealworms, crickets, and cockroaches. They will also occasionally eat fruits and vegetables.
