Enjoy The Zoo all to yourself on select Saturday mornings from 9 a.m. to 10 a.m. throughout the 2026 season, plus some special activities with a Zoo Educator or Zookeeper. Pre-registration is required.

May 16: Diet Prep
Go behind the scenes and get hands-on preparing meals for our animals while learning how we meet a wide range of dietary needs.

June 13: Enrichment Making

Create engaging toys and puzzle feeders designed to encourage natural behaviors our animals would exhibit in the wild.

July 11: Animal Spa Day

Help us pamper our animals with a well-deserved spa day and discover what it takes to keep them clean, comfortable, and healthy.

August 15: Animal Art

Did you know animals can make art? Assist as our animals create paintings and imprints that make perfect keepsakes to display.

September 12: Clicker Training
Clicker training isn’t just for dogs! Learn how we use this technique to train animals in behaviors that support their care and daily health routines.

October 10:  Education Center Tour
Join us for an educator-led tour of the Education Center and get an up-close look at the reptiles, amphibians, and insects who call it home.
