Zoo Camp
GET WILD AT ZOO CAMP!
Zoo Camp is for kids ages 6-13 and takes place during school breaks and nine weeks in the summer. Camp runs weekdays, 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. For teens 14-17, check out our Keeper-in-Training or Counselor-in-Training programs which provide hands-on experience in animal care and child care.
Activities may include:
- Animal Circle - meet a new highlighted animal each day
- Diet Prep Demonstrations - see what goes into preparing diets for over 200 animals at The Zoo
- Enrichment Activities - create toys and foraging games for the goats, sheep, birds and other animals!
- Hike Forest Park
- Participate in STEAM Activities
- Create and Write
- Arts & Crafts
- And much more
Zoo Camp at The Zoo in Forest Park
Zoo Camp includes Vacation Zoo Camp, which runs during April Vacation Week and Summer Camp, which includes nine sessions this summer. The camp day runs 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. with the option to add before-care beginning at 8 a.m.
*Campers must be at least six years old at the start of camp.*
Zoo Camp Costs:
Non-Member Rate: $340/week
Member Rate: $315/week (Discount applied at checkout)
Before-Care: $12/day
Check discount: Receive a one-time $15 discount when paying with check
Discounted camp rates are available for members (become a member
here) and for members and non-members when paying with check. Payment must be received within 7 days of registration.
