Volunteer
The Zoo in Forest Park & Education Center depends on dedicated volunteers to support our mission of education, conservation and rehabilitation. Training is provided by the staff and other experienced volunteers and interns.
Our summer volunteer program is full.
Check back in August for fall/winter volunteer opportunities.
VOLUNTEER REQUIREMENTS
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Able to commit at least four hours a week
- Willing to provide a six-month commitment
VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITIES
- Animal Care
- Gift Shop and Ticket Booth
- Gardening and grounds maintenance
- Give guided tours of The Zoo
- Education programs
- Special events throughout the season such as Brew at The Zoo, Wine Safari, Spooky Safari and more
