Counselor-in-Training
Do you love animals and enjoy working with children? If so, the Counselor-in-Training Program is for you!
The Zoo in Forest Park & Education Center is currently accepting applications for our Counselor-in-Training Program. Counselors-in-Training (CIT) will assist with all aspects of the Zoo Camp program, including: activity implementation, camper supervision, animal care and more.
Includes staff t-shirt, Forest Park parking pass and medication administration training.
Minimum requirements:
- At least 16 years old
- Available for 1 training day in June (after the school year has ended)
Please note: there are a limited number of CIT spots available each season. Qualified candidates will be contacted to set-up an interview with a member of the Zoo Camp leadership team prior to the start of Zoo Camp. Not all applicants are guaranteed an interview. Interviews will take place in mid-May through June.
Cost: $25
