Range
Servals are native to sub-Saharan Africa.
Diet
Servals are entirely carnivorous and eat rodents, birds, and reptiles. Occasionally, servals will hunt larger prey such as flamingoes.
Social Structure
Servals are solitary outside of the mating season. Cubs stay with their mothers for only a year. Both males and females establish home ranges, which often overlap.
