If you have visited The Zoo in Forest Park & Education Center recently, you may have noticed a missing fan favorite. Fergie, the Bactrian Camel, was here on loan and has returned to her home at Southwick’s Zoo in Mendon, Mass. While Fergie lived with us for the last 10 years and we were all saddened to see her leave, we are so happy that she is being taken care by our friends at Southwick’s Zoo. If you wish to visit Fergie, we recommend a trip out to Mendon. 

Although Max, the Dromedary Camel, misses Fergie, he is currently happy and healthy. And, we are excited to announce that The Zoo will soon be welcoming a new friend for Max. Stay tuned!
