On Saturday, October 26th, The Zoo in Forest Park & Education Center hosted its annual Spooky Safari, welcoming hundreds of children - and their families - to The Zoo for up-close animal encounter, a candy trail, face painting, games & crafts, live music, pumpkin painting and a costume contest! 

Speacial thank you's to Playful Minds, LLC who hosted and attended our event, Sparkle Time Studio for providing the face painting, Jonny Taylor Music for rocking the event with Halloween-themed music and all our volunteers for their help! 

We would also like to thank United Bank and Garden's Dream of Enfield, CT who donated pumpkins to the event.  Stop & Shop of East Longmeadow and Big Y of Springfield donated the candy.
