A.W. Brown's Raises Money for Winter Animal Care

A.W. Brown's in East Longmeadow partnered with The Zoo in Forest Park in November to raise money for winter animal care.

The pet and garden store raised more than $7000 from customer donations which it presented to Zoo staff on January 27.

The funds come at a crucial time as The Zoo is currently closed for the season and no longer earning revenue from admission tickets.

"A huge thank you to A.W. Brown's for partnering with us during the month of November to raise over $7,000 for winter animal care. We could not be more appreciative of our local community partners and everyone who donated. Thank you! #Shoplocal," read a post from The Zoo's Facebook page.
